Who couldn't love a face like this. This green Praying Mantis looks right into my camera. I wonder if he is deciding if I should be his next victim. They are very agile and have great vision and stare with intensively and then they attack their prey. They even are known to love to hang around Hummingbird feeders. They are also known to have great speed in order to catch their prey. Very interesting insect. He has two large eyes and also 3 spare simple eyes located between the large eyes.
