Adult Male house finch grabbing the end of a branch in the wild. The house finch is a native to Western North America but is a common bird in South Carolina. Adult finches are usually from 4.9 to 5.9 inches and have a wing span of 7.9 to 9.8 inches. Adults have a long tail and are brown with some streaking on the breast. The red color can be light or deep depending on their diet of berries.

I love being out in nature and shooting landscapes and just things that I find interesting. I love animals and find that each one is unique in their colors and personalities. If I alter a photograph I try to mention the changes that I make because I think it is important for you, the viewer, to know how the photo was created. Some changes are really obvious, so words are not necessary. Graphic designs just set my mind free and I can unleash my creative side to create some very unusual, unique and one of a kind designs.
