Pe'ahi is Maui's big-wave surf site, known for having large north swells in the winter that can produce wave faces of 50+ feet! It is also referred to as Jaws, when not using it's Hawaiian name.

Born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest. I have a B.S. in Biology from the University of Puget Sound and have been living on Maui for the past several years.
